The Schuetzenguilde’s Benchrest Championship match was held on 23 May with a dozen contestants. The weather was pleasant, however the winds made it tough to shoot a high score. Competition for the best ten-shot target was very close, with Mr. Jeff Arnett on top by 1 point with a fine 242-4. Congratulations Jeff! Our match in July- on the 4 th Sunday – the 25 th, will be our semi-annual .22RF match: 50 shots from the bench and then 50 shots offhand at 100 yards using any sights. All club members and guests are welcome and you need not shoot a single shot rifle for this match. You may use a .22 rimfire rifle of any type , bolt action, pump or lever gun, so come on out and have some fun! Match fee is $10 and we’ll set out targets about 7:30 and try and start the match by 8:00. Hope to see everyone there! Scores from the May match are as follows:
The June match will be a .40 cal and over, iron sight match, 20 shots bench and 20 off hand at 200 yards, then the best 10 of 13 at 300 yards off the bench for total score.
